1. Joining Too Many Affiliate Programs.

When you’re a rookie in affiliate marketing — don’t sign up with any and every affiliate program you come across. this is a huge error I made. While I definitely do think in growing numerous streams of earnings when working online, there is a point where you have too much to handle and it ends up being uncontrollable and let’s not forget about the cost of that error.

Pick your affiliate programs carefully and do not overload yourself.

2.  Not Checking

Whenever I opt to promote a Clickbank offer (for instance), I put myself in the shoes of a prospective consumer and decide to check the suppliers’ follow-up series.

I learned this one the hard way!.

Absolutely nothing breaks a reader’s trust more than being tossed a promo that will certainly explode their inbox. Give them what they want, information, an answer to their problems or a product they need.

3.  Not Tracking

When I initially began, this was a BIG error I made. I started my affiliate marketing profession making use of free websites on a website called HubPages (and I still do this to this day).

I love promoting Amazon items on these pages, however, I would forget to utilize special monitoring affiliate links on each page.

Just log in to your Amazon affiliate dashboard, click “Account Settings” at the extremely leading on the right, then click “Handle Tracking IDs”. From there you can make a brand-new monitoring ID so you can track which internet page/campaign offered exactly what.

Why is this an error? Extremely easy– when you make a sale, you desire to understand WHERE the sale came from. Just log in to your Amazon affiliate dashboard, click “Account Settings” at the really leading on the right, then click “Handle Tracking IDs”. From there you can make a brand-new monitoring ID so you can track which internet page/campaign offered exactly what.

Yes, making any commission is cool, however understanding where and how you made that commission is exactly what makes you a much better online marketer. It lets you grow and scale your projects– instead of working thoughtlessly.

Why is this an error? Extremely basic– when you make a sale, you need to know WHERE the sale originated. This allows you to understand which pages are transforming well so you can scale that project and grow.

Have A Great Day!
