"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Avid bicycle racer in my twenties and thirties. Realized I had to keep pedaling to finish the race! I use that logic in everything I do.
I'm truly thankful for all the people that have helped me along this journey! I make sure I do the same for other people.

Most people would probably visualize traditional MLM, or multi-level marketing, as a scheme in which housewives are selling products while at the same time gossiping about the most trivial things in life and subsequently inviting the people to do the same. Network marketing, however, does not end there. In reality, it takes more than just selling and word of mouth to succeed in this kind of business. It is not just a pastime or a get rich quick scheme, especially in digital marketing or MLM. It takes more than just valuable content and shareable links to do well.
What does it really take to thrive in the MLM or really any business for that matter? The answer, of course, lies solely on the company you will work for. If you’re going to invest dedication and hard work, you might as well choose the one that will bring you to greater heights.
You have to be smart when joining a networking company. In the industry, the opportunities are endless. The most important criterion is stability. Has the company been around for a while, or is it just starting up? This is not to say that startup companies are always bound to fail, but statistically speaking, a lot of them do fail within their first few years.
The next thing is exceptional merchandise or services that customers will utilize and have a demand for in the future. Will the product sell itself, or would you have to conduct a tedious sales talk before finally convincing them? It’s always better if the customers would come running to you because of the product, instead of having to make a sale. People really don’t want to be sold something. Nor does the average person want to sell.
Another important aspect is the payment system. This is really critical as the pay plan signify exactly how the affiliates are going to get paid or not. This needs to be thoroughly scrutinized before signing up. You need to know how much of every dollar will be paid back as a distributor on a monthly basis. More importantly, you also need to check on the distribution system among the new and old affiliates.
Another important aspect is the integrity of the top management. Have they been working for a long time in the company, and how are they viewed by the other subordinates? These testimonials are important because you can use them to assess whether the management’s goals are in line with your own.
A more notable aspect is the business mentorship. Sometimes, the people who succeed in MLM are the ones who are trained by the best mentors. Training is important because despite the steadfastness of the company, the products may have been good, but if you’re just left alone to do all the duties without any training, it might be hard for you.
To be able to succeed, you need to practice what the mentors teach. You just have to pay attention thoroughly to their stories and experiences. Your success is their success as well, so it’s a mutual benefit if you both find the most fitting way of making the business work.
