Exercise And Stress

man and woman stretchingEven though exercise may not be the most exciting word in your vocabulary, it sure is a word with a lot of benefits. Participating in daily work outs will not only make you healthier in general, but it can also diminish the effects of stress on your body as well.

Think about all the times you have heard someone say “the doctor says it’s stress related”. Normally people will laugh it off, concluding that doctors
say that when they don’t know the real answers or diagnosis. The truth of the matter is that too much stress will play a role in many diseases.

man and woman doing squats togetherTo help increase your immune system and decrease your stress level as well, try exercise, as movement is the key word here. Bending, stretching, reaching
and walking. There’s really no need to buy any expensive equipment either, as you can implement more movement into your daily routine and reap the benefits.

If you like aerobic exercise, you should grab a partner and have a blast with one of the basic aerobic videos. Or, you can simply go out for a walk and enjoy spending time together. As you may have heard, walking really is the best overall exercise you can do for your health. As long as you have a pair of walking shoes, you’ll be fine.

or moving the item towards you with your foot. While you are sitting, you should also do some simple and quick stretches for your neck and shoulders.

If you enjoy sitting around watching television, you should consider buying a jogging board. These padded boards will make running, jumping, or walking in place less stressful on your knees and joints. They are easy to store as well and also very portable.

In many people’s opinions, jogging boards are the best pieces of equipment you can buy. They are also far cheaper than bulky treadmills and stationary bikes.

Walking is by far the best, as you can easily lose yourself and your troubles by walking. Even if it is just around the block, walking can do wonders for your health as well as stress.

If you have a lot of stress in your life, you may want to consider a gym. Working out then sitting in the sauna is also a good way to relieve tension. If your gym has a pool, you may find swimming to be very beneficial as well, as it helps you to relax.

How to Make a Living and Have a Life

We live in a world where success is measured by the amount we earn and the possessions we own. People who make six figure incomes and live in mansions are looked up to… while those who earn a minimum wage are looked down on.

Because of this millions of people struggle to do well in their careers so that they can afford the finer things in life. There is nothing wrong with this and in fact it is admirable.

However, many people end up being so obsessed with their work and money that they sacrifice everything else to get to their goals. They’re so busy making a living that they forget to make a life.

They let their health slide. Their relationships deteriorate… and finally when they have their wealth, they see that they’ve lost everything else. This happens way more often than people realize.

Life is all about balance. This article will show you how you can find peace and balance in a world where everyone is talking about ‘hustling’ and ‘grinding’ just to get rich.

  • Balance is EVERYTHING!!!!!

The most important point to note is that you need to know why you’re doing what you do. If you’re trying to provide a better life for your family, that’s great… but don’t do it at the expense of your family. Maintain balance and set time aside to be with your partner or spouse and kids.

The same applies to your health. Watch what you eat and spend about 30 minutes a day on exercise. That’s just 2 percent of your day. Do not tell yourself that you will take care of your health once you’re rich.

  • You’re Not Getting Out Alive

Always remember that you’re not getting out of life alive. Every one of us has got to go one day. When that happens, you can’t take your wealth or accolades or anything with you.

Once you understand your own mortality, you’ll realize that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.

So, get your priorities right.

  • It’s Not All About The Hustle

There are many self-help and business gurus who keep ranting away that one needs to hustle and work as hard as they can to reach their goals. These gurus make it look like being obsessed with your job and business is a good thing.

This is not good advice for most people who just want a little more money to feel more financially secure. Do what you need to in order to get to a point where you feel happy and comfortable.

If your working hours is making you feel sick and exhausted all the time, you need to ease up. If you and your spouse seem like strangers because work takes up all of your time, you need to reevaluate your life.

  • Simplicity and Peace of Mind

The mansions, flashy cars and sexy women that’s so often portrayed in the media as the symbols of success is not what life is really about. Peace of mind is everything. There are thousands of wealthy people who are miserable.

Aim for peace of mind. Keep your work, health and relationships in balance.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, then dies having never really lived.”

Follow These Simple Rules When The Naysayers and Haters Get You Down!

Call them what you want… naysayers, haters, wet blankets, etc. but the sad truth is that more dreams have been killed by negative people than anything else. Thedare to dream big truly successful people in life never gave two hoots what people thought of them they just carried on focusing on their goals and strived till they made their dreams come true.

When you have a dream or a desire in life, it’s imperative that you follow your heart. You only have one life to live and you do not want to reach old age where you have no energy and time left to make your dreams come true.

Having regrets when you’re old is sad. Your past desires and dreams will return to haunt you and you’ll realize that you could have done so much more or been so much more… but you let yourself get discouraged by those who didn’t let you be you.

By now, it will be too late and you’ll realize that none of what other people said really mattered… and you should have followed your heart. This is a sad scenario but it plays out daily in thousands of people’s lives.

You do not want to end up like them. This article will give you six tips to dealing with naysayers and not letting them get you down.

  • Look At Your Why

Only you will know why your dreams are so important to you. Maybe you dream big!have a love for art and a natural inclination towards it but your parents want you to be a doctor. Maybe you have a desire to start your own business but your wife is skeptical and thinks that your day job provides more security.

What are you going to do?

If you know why you’re doing what you do, you will push ahead despite what others tell you. The promise will be clear to you and you will go against your critics.

  • Remember The Bamboo Tree

There is a story about the Chinese bamboo. Once you plant the seed, you’ll need to water the soil for 5 years. During these 5 years, nothing will happen. However, on the 5th year, a shoot will sprout out from the ground.

Once that happens, over the next 6 weeks, it will grow over 80 feet tall. That’s amazing.

The same applies for your goals. It may seem like ages to get there and of course, people will be hinting at you that you might as well quit. Yet, if you persist, once you take off, your success will be massive.

  • Get Motivated

When you’re feeling down because people have poured water on your dreams or told you that you’re destined to fail, do listen to motivational videos or read motivational books to pick yourself up.

  • Know That It’s All Turbulence

When a plane takes off from the ground, many times it will face turbulence as it rises above the weather to reach cruising altitude. In the same vein, the beginning stages of getting to your goal will be tough, but once you get there, it will most often be smooth sailing.

  • Success Turns Naysayers Into Supporters

It’s a fact that the same people who laughed at you and mocked you will become your supporters once you make it. They’ll ask for tips and advice to help successful poeple don't fail, this hit obstaclesthemselves achieve your success. If you build a successful business, people who doubted you will even ask you for a job. That’s just the way the world is.

  • Understand The Psychology Behind It

Lastly, you need to understand that when you pursue your dreams, you are like a threat to others. You determination to follow your own path and live life according to your rules shines a spotlight on the failures of those around you.

SUCCESSIt forces people to realize that they quit on themselves or did not do enough. The only way that they can feel better is to pull you down so that you can be a failure just like them.

They may make you feel like they’re doing it out of concern. But the truth of the matter is that they’re afraid you’ll succeed… because if you do, it’ll mean that they could have followed their dreams and succeeded too.

Always follow your heart and don’t allow the negativity from others to dull your sparkle or your desires. A tiger doesn’t lose sleep over the opinions of sheep.

This Should Help You!

Doing What Matters When It Matters

Doing what matters is so important that it literally determines if you’ll succeed or just spin your wheels and go nowhere. The world is full of people who are always finishing projectsbusy and doing things that’s supposed to take them places… but they have no results to show for it.
It always seems like they’re not going anywhere but they can’t wait to get there. The reason for this is that they mistake activity for work. For example, if you want to lose weight, what really matters is that you workout and watch your calories.
Reading a ton of nutrition books, spending hours on YouTube picking up diet tips and joining a gym will not make you lose weight. What really matters is the training and what you’re eating.
That’s really all it is… and so many people don’t get it. They overwhelm themselves with too much information without taking the right action. The 5 tips below will tell you exactly what you need to do to actually succeed.

Three Tasks A Day

Don’t make a list of 275 things to get done. That’s enough to overwhelm anyone. Start with just 3 tasks… and it must be 3 important tasks. If you’re trying to lose finish what you started!weight, the 3 tasks might be a 20 minute stamina workout, intermittent fasting for that day and sleeping early so that you get sufficient rest.
All you need to do is do these 3 tasks. That’s it. If you did them over and over, you will reach your weight loss goal.
Don’t give yourself too much work such as studying blood type diets, seeing if the Jupiter is in alignment with Mars so that your chakras will be activated during your yoga session, etc.
All levity aside… focus on just 3 important tasks a day.

Doing Just Enough To Be A Little Uncomfortable

You must be challenged in order to grow. If you’re trying to build a business online, that may mean writing 2,000 words of content a day. Once you get used to creating this much content with ease, you may wish to push yourself a little and aim for 2,500 words.
You want to be making gradual progress. Over time, you’ll be amazed at how it all adds up.
The same applies to your fitness. If you can only run for 10 minutes on the treadmill, that’s ok. With each workout, try and increase the duration by 20 seconds. The difference will be a little uncomfortable but it won’t be so bad that it scares you. Make measurable progress in reasonable time.

Do The Most Difficult Task First

It’s human nature to do everything else but the most difficult task. You might decide to rearrange your desk or sort out your folders in your computer when accomplished filewhat you really need to do is analyze the statistics in your advertising account.
The mind tries to escape the difficult tasks. Your job is to do them first. Forget everything else and just do the most difficult task at once. Focus on that. Once that is complete, it’ll be a weight off your chest and the rest of the lesser tasks will be completed with ease.

Activity And Work Are Two Different Things

As mentioned earlier, you must know the difference. Streamline your life so that you’re only doing what matters. Do not do unnecessary stuff. Eliminate all the trivial jobs that don’t contribute to your progress.
Then you’ll have more time to do what matters.

Know When To Take A Break

Music is the space between the notes. Take short breaks every time you feel a got it donelittle tired. This will keep you focused and more energetic to complete the important stuff. That’s really all there is to it.
“Don’t tell me how busy you are. Show me what you’ve gotten done. Words don’t matter. Results do.” – Larry Winget

Natural Ways to Reduce Stress

What is the stress in your life? Are you having trouble coping? You might need help in managing your stress, but want to avoid medications. Here are some natural things you can do to help manage your stress.

1. Meditate

Meditation may help reduce stress, and it does not involve any medication. One Woman meditating at her deskof the nice things about meditation is the “me time” you get while practicing it. The meditation itself helps focus the mind and relax the body. There are various types of meditation.

Qigong is a form of Chinese meditation that emphasizes the “qi” – your life force or life energy. With calm, focused breathing you are said to achieve a peaceful mental state. Another technique is to repeat a mantra, a key phrase that you can say over and over to bring a sense of calm and peace.

One helpful form of meditation for chronic stress sufferers is “mindful meditation.” In this sort of meditation, you learn how to live in the present and focus on the now. This may help with chronic stressors that are long term, and that may seem overwhelming.

Create Minimal Stress by Managing Life Changes

While few things are more certain in life than change, that does not necessarily make dealing with change any easier. When change comes your way, you might stress and all the things that cause stressneed some stress management techniques to help get you through it. And maybe next time you’re coping with a life change it will be a bit easier to handle.

1. Let yourself feel the sense of loss, grief, hurt, anger, pain, or other emotions that the life change brings on. It may be a costly mistake in terms of your emotional and even physical health if you stifle your feelings, or tell yourself you “shouldn’t” be feeling the things you do. Go ahead and let yourself experience the emotions, and don’t judge yourself.  (Really, Really Important!)

2. Don’t wallow in those negative emotions, either. While honestly experiencing those feelings is healthy, dwelling on them for a long time (years, perhaps) and allowing them to make you bitter and angry is not optimal. If you need to, seek professional help in letting those feelings go after experiencing them.

You might consider keeping a journal or doing artwork to get through the All the types of stressemotional difficulties. These creative activities can be helpful, because you have to “feel” the emotion to write, draw, paint, or sculpt; but then the feelings are worked out and transformed into something tangible.

3. Try to see the life change in a positive light. Go ahead and embrace the change rather than trying to hide or run from it. Accept it, and you may find a sense of freedom.

4. It’s okay to say “no” to some activities so that you can get some extra rest. Excessive sleeping can be a sign of serious depression, but getting some extra rest during a time of upheaval and change may actually be healthy and help you cope better.

5. Remember who you are. Your identity, interests, life goals, and so forth are important to remember during times of change. They are like your Stress management written on a chalkboardanchors. A life change may actually bring on a reassessment of these things, and that can be healthy, too. Maybe you need to face some fears and anxieties you have about change in general. Now is the time to do it.

Things to Avoid

It’s also worth noting some not-so-healthy ways of coping with life changes and the stress that may bring. Some destructive coping strategies to avoid include:

* Drinking alcohol
* Smoking
* Spending money on things you don’t really need
* Gambling
* Overeating
* Starving yourself
* Procrastination

How to Set and Meet Your Business Goals

It’s important to have realistic and obtainable goals in your business. These goals can be financial, personal, or simply involve an aspect of your business (“build an effective website” for example). It can sometimes seem overwhelming to determine goals, and even more overwhelming to think of achieving them. Here are some tips on doing both of these.

1. Set The Goals

How do you set business goals, anyway? As you sit down to determine your goals, here are some things to keep in mind that may help.

* Money – How much money do you need? Have a number here – $1500 a month? $100 a week? $50,000 a year? Financial goals are very different for everyone. Just Goal Settingmake sure you have a real number. You might want to set two financial goals – long-term and short-term.

* Strategy – As you develop a strategy to reach your goals, you will have goals within that strategy. For example, if your goal is to start your own small business making hand-sewn handbags, then your strategy may be to make ten handbags to have available before beginning and to sell all ten in your first month.

Within this strategy, there are steps – you will need to schedule in the time it takes to make the handbags, and determine the amount of money needed to buy the materials. Then you may also need to set up a website and post ads to get the word out. Even within these steps are more steps – setting up a website involves multiple steps, as does advertising. Break everything down into small, specific steps and look at it on paper.

* Time – Be honest about how much time you have. So many times it’s tempting to set goals we can’t reach because we just don’t have a grasp on how much (or Goal setting - SMARThow little) time we have. Also, hours on paper seldom work out exactly right in real life – you need some breaks (no one is a machine), and life happens.

For example, if your kids are in school from 8am to 3pm, you may think you have seven hours to work that day. But if you’re honest, it may be more like five by the time you factor in lunch, bathroom trips, driving to and from the school if you drive your kids, and so forth.

2. Achieve The Goals

If you have been honest in the above exercises, achieving your goals will be much easier and likely. Still, you can be as detailed and careful as you want on A Goal without a plan is just a wish!strategy lists and such, and still have trouble reaching your goals. So it may help to keep the following in mind.

* Keep track – Keeping a record of your business ventures, expenditures, income, and overall progress toward your goals can help you get a handle on how well you’re doing. This can also help you see areas in which you need to improve, and areas where you excel.

* Accountability – Some sources suggest an accountability partner, goal buddy, or whatever you want to call someone who holds you accountable for reaching your goals.

* Marketing – It is important to have a marketing plan. How will you get your name out? How will you tell people you are open for business? This is an important component to any business goal.

Network Your Way to a Successful Business

Many marketers cringe in fear at the thought of networking. It feels weird to approach fellow marketers and attempt to get to know them. There are so many fears involved.

“Will they bother with me? I’m just a beginner.”

“I don’t want to impose.”

“Maybe they’ll think that I want something from them…”

All these are very real fears. However, if you wish to succeed online, networking is quite important. Of course, there are lone wolf marketers who are really good at what they do.

However, it doesn’t hurt to have friends who are in the same industry as you. It will take your game to the next level and you’ll learn so much more. What’s most important is to approach other marketers as a friend.

Always build a relationship first and help them out where you can. Promote their products, take an interest in their business and compliment them if they did something good.

Be a friend above all else and you will be amazed at how beneficial networking can be. Let’s look at some ways networking with other marketers can make your online business more successful.

  • Potential Business Partners

Firstly, you can always form JV partnerships with other marketers. Product launches that generate thousands of dollars are very common in the internet marketing scene and a lot of it is due to networking.

You’ll have many affiliates promoting your product and this will translate into thousands of dollars worth of sales. Everybody wins here.

  • Brainstorm New Ideas

Two heads are better than one. That’s why there are several internet marketing summits where marketers get together to exchange ideas and tips. Even a single tip can make a world of difference in your business.

You’ll get to rub shoulders with marketers who are starting off and those who are already earning six figures. It will not only be eye-opening and inspiring but you just may enjoy it too.

  • Problem Solving

The experienced marketers will probably have gone through the same struggles that you go through. They’ll be able to guide you if you have any problems. All you need to do is ask them and many will gladly help you out.

  • Learn from their experiences

There are many marketers that offer a ton of free advice to their list or friends in the scene. There are secret Facebook groups where they hang out in. Once you’re in these groups, you will learn many things that will help you avoid potential errors.

Always learn from the mistakes made by others. It will reduce your learning curve and you’ll attain success much faster.

  • Stay Updated

When you hang out with other marketers online, you’ll be aware of the latest changes that are taking place in the scene because everyone is talking about it. This will help to keep you updated.

Things change at a rapid pace online and you do not want to be doing stuff that is obsolete, ineffective or might even be detrimental to your business.

To summarize it all, do understand that networking is an essential part of building wealth. It’s nothing to be scared of. Be bold and believe that you have value to contribute too.

“The richest people in the world look for and build networks; everyone else looks for work.” – Robert Kiyosaki

Building Confidence in Business

Do you sometimes feel like you just don’t have the bold confidence necessary to succeed in business? Maybe you need a boost in your business confidence, or believe in yourselfmaybe you are just getting started and need some extra confidence to take that first step. Here are some tips for building confidence in business.

Get Educated

One of the most important confidence-builders is knowing that you know what you know! You may have a lot of great business ideas but you don’t have the know-how to make it happen. Educate yourself about how to market your if you don't believe in yourself then who will?product or service – what is your competition? How can you reach your demographic? What kinds of advertising should you do?

You may need some nuts-and-bolts education, too – for example, how do you set up an effective website? You may need some practical knowledge to help you reach your goals.

There are many ways to educate yourself in business. You can hire a business coach to help you one-on-one. You can also download eBooks, sign up with boards and forums where business-savvy people congregate, and ask questions of successful people.

Get Focused

Getting educated is key to getting focused. You really can’t boldly march forward if you don’t know what direction you’re going in. Take some time to focus on your business. What, exactly, are you doing? What do you want to do? Who is your target market or demographic?

If you have diverse interests, this can be difficult – but it’s even more necessary, because diverse interests can be distracting if you don’t focus on one at a time. So once you get yourself educated about your market and what you want to do, you can launch a focused business (or focus an existing one).

Don’t Compare Yourself to Others

We all know that businessman or woman – the one who has written ten books, has a dozen jobs, and has a perfect house. You may not be that kind of person, believing in yourself is the first secret to success!and such a schedule and goals are just not realistic for you. It’s really not advantageous to compare yourself to others. Set your own realistic standards and compare your progress against those.

Believe in Your Success

A lot of people swear by the power of positive thinking. It is said that visualizing your goals can attract the very things you need to reach your goals. Even if you don’t get into the visualization bit, you can benefit from believing in your business and your own competence.

Once you get confident, you will be much more likely to attract clients, which in turn will boost your confidence. It’s a good cycle to get into.

Have A Confident Day!

This is a good news bad news situation. The bad news is that time flies. The good news is that you’re the pilot.

Does that make sense?

The truth is that there’ll never be enough time in a day to do all that you want to do… unless you’re not doing anything. But then you won’t be reading this.

The key to succeeding and achieving your goals will be to do as much as possible with the time that you have available to you. Every minute is precious and should not be squandered away.

Achieving balance in life is extremely difficult. You may have work commitments, family responsibilities and you’ll also need to find the time to exercise and stay healthy. It’s like a juggling act on a tightrope. You have to have laser-like focus to get to where you want to go.

Follow the 6 steps below to get as many things done in the shortest possible time.

  • Don’t Let The Distractions Distract You

Social media, the TV, advertisements, the usual dramas in real life, etc. are all waiting to suck up your time. You do not have time to give too much attention to any of these. The occasional indulgence is fine but you will need to shut them off when you’re at work.

You need to starve your distractions and feed your focus. That’s one of the best ways to have more time to do what you need to.

  • Important Tasks Come First

Do the most important tasks first. People usually have it backwards. They do the less important tasks and then struggle to complete what really needs their focus.

Do what’s most important at once. Get them over and done with. Once those tasks are completed, the rest will be easily dealt with or can always be carried over to the next day.

  • Plan Your Day The Night Before

All time management begins with planning. It’s always best to plan your day the night before. A plan for what needs to be done will be very helpful in helping you shut out the noise and stay focused.

It’ll be like an organizational planner to keep you on track.

  • Work In Bursts

You may realize that you get most of your work done at certain times. So, plan your day in a way where you can work in bursts during times when you’re most productive. You might get a ton of stuff done from 5am to 9am. If that’s the case, then give it your all during this time.

After that you can spend some time exercising or with your family. This is especially true if you work from home.

  • You Are More Productive When You Are Well-Rested

Rest is underrated. With all the talk about hustling, people often think that they need to work themselves to the bone. This is unnecessary. You work faster and feel better when you are well-rested.

Take mini-breaks throughout the day. Don’t stare at the computer for hours like a zombie. Get up and move about for 5 or 10 minutes every hour. This will get your blood circulating and keep your alert. You will get more work completed.

  • Automate And Outsource

If you have an online business, automate whatever mundane tasks that you can. This will free up more time. If you have the cash to spare, find a good freelance or virtual assistant to handle support or other issues that do not require your attention all the time.

You’ll have time to focus on what matters which will take your business to the next level.

Apply these 6 tips and you will get more work completed and actually find more balance in life. Your work will be completed sooner; you’ll feel less exhausted and be more productive overall. Time management is life management.

Have A Great Day!
