Focus On Your Success

It’s so easy to let your mind get preoccupied and lose track of your goals and dreams. The world is more full of distractions than ever before, and they are all at our fingertips – social networking, computer games, television, mobile devices, and so on. And even if you don’t give in to those distractions, there are life distractions – kids, household chores, errands… How do you stay focused on success?

First of all, no one can remain focused on one thing all day every day. That would be impossible, especially in this world where multiple demands are characteristic of the average day. But you can focus on success by adopting a successful mindset. Here are some ideas on keeping focused on success.

Keep a Journal (Log)

Every day, write in a log or journal about what you did for your business that day. Note particularly all your successes and things you did toward your goals. If you spent the morning designing a logo, that’s not wasted time – that’s a success, and a step toward your goal. When you log in this way, you will also be able to see areas where you are losing focus and need to step things up a bit.

Write Down Your Goals

You probably know this, but writing down your goals is important. What you may not have thought of is displaying them where you can see them. Keep them nearby – maybe even frame them – so that you can look often and get your mind back on achieving success.

Visualize

Visualizing takes the concept of the daydream up several notches. Taking some time every day to visualize your success can help. Take a few quiet minutes and envision yourself succeeding. Be specific – if this is about your business, imagine yourself meeting clients, making them happy, and then imagine those clients telling others.

If this is about personal success, imagine the details of a successful relationship, a harmonious family, or a different lifestyle. Try to make it real, as if you’re watching it happen. Think in vivid colors, sights, and sounds.

Don’t Be Hesitant

Experts say that it can hamper your success if you keep thinking you need a back-up plan “just in case.” It may be better just to go for it 100 percent and not look back. Otherwise, you may jump into your back-up plan at the first sign of trouble, and success takes effort.

Exercise And Stress

Doing What Matters When It Matters

Doing what matters is so important that it literally determines if you’ll succeed or just spin your wheels and go nowhere. The world is full of people who are always finishing projectsbusy and doing things that’s supposed to take them places… but they have no results to show for it.
It always seems like they’re not going anywhere but they can’t wait to get there. The reason for this is that they mistake activity for work. For example, if you want to lose weight, what really matters is that you workout and watch your calories.
Reading a ton of nutrition books, spending hours on YouTube picking up diet tips and joining a gym will not make you lose weight. What really matters is the training and what you’re eating.
That’s really all it is… and so many people don’t get it. They overwhelm themselves with too much information without taking the right action. The 5 tips below will tell you exactly what you need to do to actually succeed.

Three Tasks A Day

Don’t make a list of 275 things to get done. That’s enough to overwhelm anyone. Start with just 3 tasks… and it must be 3 important tasks. If you’re trying to lose finish what you started!weight, the 3 tasks might be a 20 minute stamina workout, intermittent fasting for that day and sleeping early so that you get sufficient rest.

Natural Ways to Reduce Stress

What is the stress in your life? Are you having trouble coping? You might need help in managing your stress, but want to avoid medications. Here are some natural things you can do to help manage your stress.

1. Meditate

Qigong is a form of Chinese meditation that emphasizes the “qi” – your life force or life energy. With calm, focused breathing you are said to achieve a peaceful mental state. Another technique is to repeat a mantra, a key phrase that you can say over and over to bring a sense of calm and peace.

One helpful form of meditation for chronic stress sufferers is “mindful meditation.” In this sort of meditation, you learn how to live in the present and focus on the now. This may help with chronic stressors that are long term, and that may seem overwhelming.

2. Stretching

Stretching is said to ease the tension out of the body. Combining stretching with meditation, as in Qigong and Yoga, can be especially beneficial, as both mind and body are targeted. Stretching helps relax tight muscles and realign the joints. You might consider Yoga or a martial arts class – being with other people and getting out may help relieve your stress, too.

3. Exercise

Stress is said to result in toxin build-up in your body, perhaps because of how it affects circulation and digestion. Create Minimal Stress by Managing Life Changes

While few things are more certain in life than change, that does not necessarily make dealing with change any easier. When change comes your way, you might stress and all the things that cause stressneed some stress management techniques to help get you through it. And maybe next time you’re coping with a life change it will be a bit easier to handle.

1. Let yourself feel the sense of loss, grief, hurt, anger, pain, or other emotions that the life change brings on. It may be a costly mistake in terms of your emotional and even physical health if you stifle your feelings, or tell yourself you “shouldn’t” be feeling the things you do. Go ahead and let yourself experience the emotions, and don’t judge yourself.  (Really, Really Important!)

2. Don’t wallow in those negative emotions, either. While honestly experiencing those feelings is healthy, dwelling on them for a long time (years, perhaps) and allowing them to make you bitter and angry is not optimal. If you need to, seek professional help in letting those feelings go after experiencing them.

You might consider keeping a journal or doing artwork to get through the All the types of stressemotional difficulties. These creative activities can be helpful, because you have to “feel” the emotion to write, draw, paint, or sculpt; but then the feelings are worked out and transformed into something tangible.

3. Try to see the life change in a positive light. Go ahead and embrace the change rather than trying to hide or run from it. Accept it, and you may find a sense of freedom.

4. It’s okay to say “no” to some activities so that you can get some extra rest. Excessive sleeping can be a sign of serious depression, but getting some extra rest during a time of upheaval and change may actually be healthy and help you cope better.

5. Remember who you are. Your identity, interests, life goals, and so forth are important to remember during times of change. They are like your Stress management written on a chalkboardanchors. A life change may actually bring on a reassessment of these things, and that can be healthy, too. Maybe you need to face some fears and anxieties you have about change in general. Now is the time to do it.

The phrase “healthy stress” may seem like an oxymoron, but it’s actually a reality. Stress is inescapable; everyone feels some stress at some points throughout their Controlling stresslives. Experts are finding anti-tumor activity in people who undergo healthy stress, indicating that healthy stress stimulates the immune system.

Unhealthy Stress (Distress)

Constant

The unhealthy type of stress is constant. You do not return to a normal energy level after it has passed. Unhealthy stress can take the form of constant worry, depression, and exhaustion. It can cause weight gain as well due to the release of cortisol, the “stress hormone.”

Immunity

Continual stress weakens the immune system. That can leave you more susceptible to everyday illnesses and more serious problems such as cancer. (As a cancer survivor my doctor and I both believe this was the main contributing factor in my diagnosis!)

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

People who are chronically stressed usually worry about common, everyday things over which they have no control. These are the kinds of things that are REDUCE STRESS written on notebook papernot going to go away, such as paying bills, keeping the house clean, and so forth. Once one set of worries is tackled, another set comes along. Accepting these annoyances as part of life can go a long way in helping you cope with unhealthy stress.
