If you work from home here are the top five time wasters that hurt home business people.  See if you agree:)

#1 – Your family and friends who show up at your door

Since we work from home, our family and friends often think that we are available 24/7, because we haven’t left to go to work. (There are days I really miss leaving to go to work.:)  It could be very innocent, something like, “Hey! Do you want chicken or beef for dinner tonight?” That is all that it takes to steal your focus and get your mind working in the wrong direction.

#2 – Family & Friends (Online)

Social media is great but when you are trying to work, you want to make sure to turn off your notifications. If you have a Facebook button and it says you have even one notification, you may just be tempted to open it up and “just check for a second.” Checking your social media, following, liking and commenting on people’s photos and posts is not going to help your business.

#3 – Get Your Work Done

If you home or business tasks that you have been putting off, these are going to distract you and waste your valuable brain power. If you have to put down whatever you are doing and get those things done, just do it.

#4 – Unqualified Leads

You may have leads to contact, but if they are not truly interested, you are wasting your time. Make them jump through a few hoops to make sure they are serious about learning more or you are just going to waste your time.

#5 – Canceled or Missed Appointments

This has a bit to do with point number four. If you are trying to work with unqualified leads you may be getting a lot of missed or canceled appointments. If you are booking that time and holding that spot for that lead and they do not show up, either in person or on the phone, is going to put you in a bad mood and you’ll waste your time being upset and trying to figure out something else to fill that time slot. (Maybe try email instead:))

Don’t fall into these traps. You want to make sure that you set working hours so your friends and family know, clear up any tabs or notifications, get any undone tasks out of the way and only work with qualified leads.

I’m sure this has just touched the surface. Write down more time wasting stuff and send it to me.

Although a select few find true success from spending years in the regular 9 to 5 grind, people are now starting to change with the times. If modern technology can advance into new fields in just a matter of years, then the terms and conditions of success must have advanced as well. This is the reason why MLM companies are gaining substantial ground in providing aspiring people the chance to live the lives they have always wanted.

Also known as multi-level marketing, MLM is a marketing approach that combines the elements of convenience and hard work to create opportunities. Members of an MLM company do not follow a regular shift every workday compared to other organizations. Instead, they earn money when they want to.

Depending on the company joined, members gain a set of a particular item that the company sells. This could range from cosmetics to home care products. For a small investment, an individual can start working and keep a large portion of his sales to himself. There is no need to report to a supervisor who monitors work on a regular basis, but there would be people who serve as helpful guides to help members reach their goals.

This ultimately represents the opportunity to earn residual income in the beginning, which could blossom into massive yet passive income over the years as long as the member keeps on working. These chances to success even increase when members encourage other people they know to join the organization.

This is known as recruitment. By introducing more people into the organization, members can earn a small profit from the sales of the people that they recruit. That means the hard work that they put into convincing other people to be part of the company will pay off as long as the ones they recruit are just as passionate as they are when it comes to making money.

Within a few years, a member can start earning just as much as high-paid individuals passively! Should they have enough recruits who earn their own money, the small cuts that they make from their sales should grow into a formidable source of passive income. That means with the right time and dedication, these people could choose not to work when they do not want to and still earn money while they do the things that they want.

Although this means a lot of interpersonal communication skills and persuasion, the benefits of MLM are all worth the trouble. Instead of toiling away at the regular nine to five wherein every single effort is geared towards a company, a network marketing approach will make sure that each and every effort made is channeled into fueling personal growth that will one day lead to their desired lifestyle.

However, just because the opportunity is there, it is not easy. As mentioned earlier, the art of convincing people to buy the product or join the organization takes some time. Members of MLM companies need to be able to show people how easy it is to duplicate the business and make lots of money.  A better life is quite possible with MLM.  In fact it’s a lot easier than most people believe.

Happy New Year!

Use Your blog to Help People – Part Two

Yesterday, I wrote about using your blog as a recruiting tool by offering free training material for your potential team and existing members.  Your blog is without a doubt, the very best location to start. I listed four factors but only talked about the first one………….focus.
The 4 factors to consider for an effective MLM blog site: focus, material, traffic, and updates.

Let me continue with the second factor: material.

Where the “All About Me” site is all about the MLM program and here it comes……..the offer to join because the owner is making one bzillion dollars and you will too. Your blog site should be loaded with information, tips, strategies, and other approaches for MLM training – all FREE of charge!

Your helpful material should have three varieties – helpful articles, a training program, and links to your offer(s). The best MLM blogs have tons of quality, articles that are both informational and practical,. Learn to write them yourself and use the internet to help you improve your writing skills and find great material to write about.  Cover the topics that are important to new people who are in need of training. Learn the proper use of key words in your articles.

You can also create a simple step-by-step training program to present on your MLM blog if you like. That may need to come later after you gain knowledge and skills that have proven successful for you. You might achieve almost this same effect by organizing your articles grouped by important topics (recruiting, writing, selecting an MLM program, secrets and techniques, and so on). I can also give you a three step training guide.  It’s free and located in my blog.  (Yes, I know, kinda of a shout out for my stuff, but really it came from other people who have been so kind to help me!)

The third type of content will be the links to your business. Since really the purpose of your site is on training, your offer should be made available as your visitors gain confidence in you as an expert teacher and business person.  You could place your links at the end of your articles to pages that talk about your program. This is much less aggressive and still accomplishes the result you’re looking for – new team members. The best part of this is  they are not just new members but they are ‘trained’ new members who can use your blog site to train their new team members if they so choose.  Every MLM experts’ dream is to have a team that has already received great training. Untrained team mates take up huge amounts of a sponsors’ time. Get rid of that problem, by signing those who you have already trained on your free training site.

Why is Pay Per Click Marketing so Popular?

PPC marketing or pay per click marketing is the most popular method of advertisement employed by various websites on the Internet. PPC marketing may often be referred to as pay for position, cost per click or pay for performance. But regardless of the term used, PPC marketing is the online advertiser’s medium of choice for promoting products and services to online consumers.

PPC marketing is beneficial to both the advertiser and the consumer. Advertisers using PPC marketing only need to pay for the actual click throughs linked to their sites from search engines. At the same time as consumers are relieved of having to get annoying emails or pop-up ads for products and services.

When an online consumer searches for a specific product or service on the Internet, corresponding PPC marketing ads are also displayed alongside the results generated by the search engine. This forms a highly targeted consumer group that is more likely to purchase a specific product or service. In addition, websites get to limit their advertisement costs with the use of PPC marketing. PPC marketing is truly a winning solution for both parties.

Possible drawbacks of PPC marketing

Despite the obvious advantages of PPC marketing, there are possible drawbacks that can cancel out its benefits. One of the most common problems associated with PPC marketing is the inexperience of many people attempting to use this profitable advertisement method. Simply submitting PPC marketing ads to a search engine such as google, does not make up the entire campaign.

PPC marketing requires a calculated and systematic approach to setting up ads. PPC marketing involves the use of keywords and biddings in order to get top placement on a search engine. Getting top search engine placement helps boost traffic to a website that can easily translate into profit.

Without the necessary experience and knowledge to carry out a typical PPC marketing ad, may turn into an expensive campaign that does not convert into profit. PPC marketing ads also require continuous funding, as discontinued payments will also result in discontinued ads. This can be unfavorable for a website that has already built high rankings with their PPC marketing ads.

Bidding on keywords can also be quite costly, as the growing number of websites on the web struggle against each other to bid on the most popular keyword for their PPC marketing ad. Obviously small business websites are at a disadvantage here since big business websites are able to pay more for popular keywords related to their site. This is because most small businesses only set aside a small portion of their capital for advertisement, putting them at a disadvantage.

Running an effective PPC marketing campaign

There are a number of things that a website should consider when running an effective PPC marketing campaign. It is important to develop a marketing plan in order to get the most return on investment from PPC marketing. Selecting the most appropriate keywords that relate to the site’s business is essential in PPC marketing.

However, simply choosing the most popular keywords does not necessarily translate into profit. Selecting more specific keywords that will put a site within the first ten results of a search also gets greater awareness from online consumers. In addition, it doesn’t cost as much as getting the top spot for PPC marketing.

It is also important that a website constantly monitors the performance of their PPC marketing campaign. This will help the site modify any existing PPC marketing ad to make it more productive. At the same time any PPC marketing ad that has not proven effective can be immediately discontinued. Altering PPC marketing ads is a continuous process that many websites do in order to increase their return on investment.

Getting professional help with PPC marketing

The popularity of PPC marketing has given rise to professionals offering PPC marketing services for small and big businesses. Hiring a professional PPC marketing company is advisable for a small business without experience in PPC marketing. Most PPC marketing companies offer reasonable rates for their services and at the same time produce acceptable results.

A PPC marketing professional can attend to all the details commonly involved in a PPC marketing campaign. Handling a PPC marketing campaign is a time consuming process that can be overwhelming for a small business. A PPC marketing professional can help set up a PPC marketing campaign and later on train someone from within the business to handle it to ensure its continued success.

Old Network Marketing Versus Today’s Network Marketing

Network marketing used to be an off-line way of promoting products via face-to- face contact, where people persuaded people they knew on to their teams – take for example Spoiled Chef, everything was all very personal.

Distributors invited people into their own houses, and held cooking demonstrations, sold kitchen utensils, which was lots of fun.

Business man pointing at the words
Network Marketing Internet businesses have taken away that  private contact aspect. This is the main reason why some network marketers are failing on line. The brilliant thing is you can reach an audience of millions online, old-fashioned network marketing businesses were really limited,
and new network marketers who don’t understand this personalized way of selling are failing.

So many new network marketing experts have not dealt with people in face-to- face situations, and subsequently they don’t understand the concept of attraction marketing.

Business man pointing to the words It is not frightful, it’s really quite straightforward. If some body likes you and trusts you they will buy from you. And that is precisely the same way as it was done with Mary Kay, Amway and all those alternative network marketing businesses that have survived the test of time. The Mary Kay representative driving around in her pink Cadillac is pleased with her achievements, and you can rest assured she did not get that Cadillac by selling her acquaintances and family one or two bags of eye shadow!

So how can this old school concept of attraction marketing translate into the Internet?

The principle behind attraction marketing is to help people. Folks are on the Internet trying to find info . They are looking for this info because they require something or have a problem. The Internet has made an extraordinarily educated buying public. They ‘ll research everything before they purchase anything by going on social media sites, posing questions in forums, reading articles and finding acceptable web sites.

This is precisely the way your business should be you must be where those potential customers are. It does not mean going on Twitter and posting “buy my product” each 10 minutes. You’ve got to gain people ‘s trust by proving that you are an expert, and that you actual y would like to help the person solve their problem. That is online attraction marketing.

You Gotta Advertise!

If you ‘re a beginner in the Internet marketing business, there are numerous other places you can advertise. The great thing is once you get your first few sales you can invest those earnings by participating in Pay-per-click advertising and other forms of paid advertising, but not as yet.

Find a system that will work for you and stick with it. Every body wants a good system in network marketing, and must moreover have an entrepreneurial perspective.

Where am I able to find some sound advice about Internet network marketing and getting those qualified leads?

Write Down Your Schedule and Stick to It

The hardest part about time management is making a real commitment to following a schedule. It can be especially difficult for people who want to work calendarfor themselves to work on any type of schedule. It can feel wrong somehow to keep a schedule as an entrepreneur. However, keeping a schedule is going to increase your success exponentially. Putting your schedule in writing will help you follow it.

Use Your Smartphone

Today’s cell phones are really mini computers. You can have your entire life on there, including your work schedule with alarm reminders and everything. If you see a popup on your phone every time you go to use Facebook, reminding you of tasks that need to be done, you will not have much of an excuse for not doing them.

Try Google Calendar

If you have a Gmail account, then you already have access to a powerful system Planner on a computer screenthat can help you put your time in writing, while helping you keep track. You can easily set up different calendars for different aspects of your life and color code the entries. Further you can print out a calendar each day or sync to your smartphone so that you don’t forget anything.

Try a Project Management System

Project management systems like Basecamp can help you put your schedule into writing, and organize it too. You can use this system whether or not you outsource tasks to others by just assigning the work to yourself if you don’t have others to assign them to. You’ll get an email reminder before the task is due.

Use Evernote

This nifty little program can be used to help you keep track of your schedule, notes for projects, and more. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it you’ll enjoy using it to keep track of many tasks.

Try the “Old-Fashioned” Date Book

The old Filofax still exists and many people prefer it to using technology. If you’re one that does, don’t despair because many people stay better organized with everything in writing in one single notebook. If that’s you, you can still do it that way.

Use a Large Whiteboard

The great thing about having a large whiteboard on your office wall is you can’t escape the tasks that need to be done since they are very obvious. You can also feel accomplished as you erase things as they get done.

Use Time Tracking Software

FreshBooks.com comes with time tracking software that enables you to keep Scheduling and Timingtrack of what you’re doing easily once you set up names for them. Make entries for using social media, making phone calls, even doing the dishes, and you’ll soon figure out where you’re wasting time. You can’t get time back, so it’s nice to know where it all went.

Create a Contract with Yourself

Actually put your promises and goals into writing in the form of a contract. Write down in black and white what you will do, what your work hours are, and what you plan to do during those work hours. Then sign it.

Setting a schedule and sticking to it requires commitment to your business as if it is a job. This isn’t to say that it won’t be more flexible than a job. But, if you have to move the two hours you wanted to work on a particular project, due to a family emergency, you need to then take time from elsewhere to replace the two hours you were going to work. Seeing the schedule in writing will help you schedule things the best by making a visual representation of your day.

Have A Great Day and Stick To That Schedule!Smiling Face

Recurring Income and Your Affiliate Marketing Business

Have you ever wondered why some affiliates succeed while others fail? In many cases, people fail because they make the affiliate marketing process too difficult. They have to fight to get a certain number of leads per day, and then they have to fight to covert each of those leads. Once they finish all of the fighting, they don’t have much money to show for it. If you find yourself suffering from this problem, there is a quick fix you can use. If you use this fix, you won’t need to fight for so many leads per day and you can finally start to reap the rewards of having a successful affiliate marketing business.

Recurring Income

Some affiliate networks have products that provide affiliates with a recurring income. That means the affiliate earns money every month, as long as the customer renews his subscription. For instance, if you sold access to a membership site, you would earn an income each time that member renews his membership. This is an easy way to keep money coming in without putting in as much work. This is one of the best ways to make money with affiliate marketing.

What to Look For

Recurring income is an excellent way to make money, but some networks offer embarrassingly low payouts. If you are going to get a few bucks a month, you aren’t going to get any closer to retirement with your recurring income. The trick is to find a company that offers a large recurring income so you can use it to reach your business goals. Otherwise, you will waste your time with your affiliate marketing business.

Make sure you choose a company that has a product that people will want to renew every month. It won’t be helpful if all of your customers cancel after the first month. Find a quality product that offers lots of feature or information so people will have a reason to continue paying for it. This will make your affiliate marketing job much easier.

I have a number of great options for you if you want to earn a recurring income. They all have a great team working for you 24/7/365. There are many ways to make money which can help you have the extra money that will help you and your family enjoy life. Check out two of them below:

The Joys Of Lead Generation

Leads are a necessary part in building any sort of business successfully. Good lead generation is crucial to the financial success of any company, whether large or small. Nonetheless not all lead generation processes are equal in quality. A lower quality lead generation process can finish up costing a business much more than it may seem to at the start. Throughout the promoting process there has to be a way to identify qualified leads and separate them from the others.

Your conversion rates will be disappointing and you ‘ll become disenchanted with the future of your business. Don’t fall into that trap. Creating leads can be a laborious endeavor. Offline lead generation process requires meeting prospects eyeball to eyeball in physical locations as well contacting them by phone. Leads that are generated at trade shows and other events must be placed in a database and you need contact with each one individually. The business may have to mail information to the prospects, which can also be a pricey activity. Such leads must be qualified and then passed off to the firm’ s sales dept, where a sale will hopefully be made in the future.

Creating Leads Online

Creating leads online is no less complicated and labor-intensive, and if you have operated a web Multi-Level Marketing business for any length of time you are likely nodding in harmony.  You do have an audience of millions when you market online, but that suggests that the qualifying process is more significant and it’s much more difficult because few people basically know you from a hole in the ground. There aren’t many companies that don’ t need a preliminary investment to get it going, and the more capital you can invest the quicker your business can take off ,which will mean outsourcing the jobs or things you re not capable of doing yourself.

Advertising at some point to improve lead generation will always pull in more leads, but only if it’s done correctly. Are you asking yourself why your internet site is not rewarding you with sales? Heck, you have followed the whole menu of things you should do like writing quality articles, getting back links, using       autoresponders to push your product thru email campaigns and all that other necessary stuff. What are you doing wrong? Too many people in online marketing simply give up at that point and join the great majority of others who’ve failed. But there’s no work! You can end up standing in a line at a job convention behind people that are much more experienced than you are. Trying to find another job…..Yuck!

Paying For Qualified Leads

Regardless of whether a credible business can be found to get new, qualified leads, (really expensive option) the leads must be paid for no matter whether they’re qualified or converted to sales. In this respect, a small enterprise can find that profits are being eaten up in lead generation costs. If raising prices to provide compensation for this isn’t a choice, the company then finds itself in a bad position. In this respect, a lead generation system that is really capable of offering positive results can help an entrepreneur to remain in charge of the process. A system should be selected that teaches the business owner the most recent system of taking fresh, qualified leads, leaving her with more time to improve and build the company.

If you’re looking for that special training to help your business improve it’s lead generation without spending tons of money, dig a little deeper below.
