Now That I Have To Eat Salads, Any Suggestions?

When people resolve to lose weight, they know snacks and junk foods will have to be eliminated and replaced with salads and fruit. In order to stay on such a dietetic resolution it is imperative that the meals be enjoyed.

Of course, it’s easy as pie to peel a banana or grab an apple and enjoy the delicious flavors of these and several other fruits without the hassle of preparation. However, everyone knows that we still need our vegetables as some nutrients which may be lacking in fruits are very much more present in these substances.

Moreover, when it comes to weight loss, as we detoxify with exercise and diet, it is imperative that the body is nourished and provided with as much essential substances as possible to maintain adequate health and wellness. These are abundant in green leaves and vegetables and in addition to this; these substances possess the fibrous qualities to serve as intestinal brooms for ridding the body of excess debris.

But how many people do you know that just grab plain lettuce or cabbage and chew on these items like rabbits? Even if you came across someone so inclined, I bet you they wouldn’t last long on such a practice. But still we need the vegetables. So how does one ensure to get them and enjoy them as we go on a weight loss diet?

Perhaps the tastiest and most creative way will be by eating salads.
Now, to enjoy them and to be able to have fun making them on your own for saving money and knowing exactly what is in your meal, here are some tips and recipes that should come in handy.

Ensure to chop the base vegetables all to the same size to allow the flavors to intermingle. When making for the whole family you can double the ingredients in the recipes and increase the vegetables.

Great choices for base vegetables for salads are Lettuce, Cabbage and Kale.
You can augment these with fruit vegetables like Cucumber, bell peppers, tomatoes etc or root vegetables like carrots or plain celery.

For a dressing, you can use any choice of the following to enjoy your salads while you go on a diet for weight loss

1. Tom-Avo
-2 organic Roma or Hot House tomatoes
-2 big Avocadoes (pitted)
-2 tsp orange juice (freshly squeezed) 2 oz of water

Serving Suggestion: Chop some Red Cabbage say a cup or less finely and sprinkle into the soup
2. The Real Ranch Dressing:
-2 medium sized tomatoes
-2 young coconuts
-1/2 tsp of salt
-6 organic sun dried tomatoes
-I stalk of Celery
-1 tbs of lemon juice (optional)

Blend all and use as a dressing for a lettuce based salad. (Note: I recommend using one base leafy vegetable at a time, if desired a fruit veggie like cucumbers or organic bell peppers can be used along with shredded carrots)

3. Guacamole:
-2 avocadoes
-2 medium tomatoes
-1/2 orange
-Sea salt to taste
Process everything in your food processor.
I would say this can be an excellent first food for a child in the evenings. Serve in lettuce leaves or largely cut cabbage leaves a la Tortilla chips and dips.

4. Dress Down Dressing:
-1/2 lemon
-2-3 avocadoes
-Sea Salt to taste
-1/2 cup water

With the suggestions above, now that you may have to include more salads and vegetables into your diet for a safe and healthy weight loss, these delicious recipes will ensure that you not only enjoy how you make your meals but most importantly that they taste good. This way you can stay on your weight loss program and still not compromise tasty meals per-se.

Well, enjoy your salads and have fun working out later on.

Have A Great Day!

Exercise And Stress

man and woman stretchingEven though exercise may not be the most exciting word in your vocabulary, it sure is a word with a lot of benefits. Participating in daily work outs will not only make you healthier in general, but it can also diminish the effects of stress on your body as well.

Think about all the times you have heard someone say “the doctor says it’s stress related”. Normally people will laugh it off, concluding that doctors
say that when they don’t know the real answers or diagnosis. The truth of the matter is that too much stress will play a role in many diseases.

man and woman doing squats togetherTo help increase your immune system and decrease your stress level as well, try exercise, as movement is the key word here. Bending, stretching, reaching
and walking. There’s really no need to buy any expensive equipment either, as you can implement more movement into your daily routine and reap the benefits.

If you like aerobic exercise, you should grab a partner and have a blast with one of the basic aerobic videos. Or, you can simply go out for a walk and enjoy spending time together. As you may have heard, walking really is the best overall exercise you can do for your health. As long as you have a pair of walking shoes, you’ll be fine.

or moving the item towards you with your foot. While you are sitting, you should also do some simple and quick stretches for your neck and shoulders.

If you enjoy sitting around watching television, you should consider buying a jogging board. These padded boards will make running, jumping, or walking in place less stressful on your knees and joints. They are easy to store as well and also very portable.

In many people’s opinions, jogging boards are the best pieces of equipment you can buy. They are also far cheaper than bulky treadmills and stationary bikes.

Walking is by far the best, as you can easily lose yourself and your troubles by walking. Even if it is just around the block, walking can do wonders for your health as well as stress.

If you have a lot of stress in your life, you may want to consider a gym. Working out then sitting in the sauna is also a good way to relieve tension. If your gym has a pool, you may find swimming to be very beneficial as well, as it helps you to relax.

What to Look For in a Multi-Level Marketing Company

It is a common line of multi-level marketers (or network marketers, or affiliate marketers—they seem to have a lot of names these days): dazzling sums of extra income, for less effort. But really, does it work? It sounds a lot like a scam—and in fact many of those pretending to be multi-level marketers are just plain scammers (this is to the detriment of legitimate businesses that could help you make incredible amounts of money!)

Now, if you are trying to pick a multi-level marketing company to bet on, here are some things to look for.

First, keep in mind: honesty is the best policy. Make sure that the company you join is always upfront. There should be no hidden charges, no sudden fees, and no unexplainable payments. There should also be no exaggerated claims about your earning potential—be suspicious when you are offered fantastic sums in extra income. Check on its reputation to see if it is known for its honesty or otherwise. (Check with the Better Business Bureau to see if they’re rated.)

Next, look at their products and services. See for yourself if these products and services are actually good. This is because you have to know and believe that your products and services are worth the effort of selling, and worth your potential customer’s money. If you don’t believe in the product or service you offer, you are going to have problems in selling. It’s hard to lie through your teeth to a customer, even for extra income.

Third, check if the multi-level marketing company is distributor-driven. That is, the company should always be taking into consideration its members, especially when making tough, high-level decisions. You should always be represented when the company makes its decisions, and its moves should always benefit you. After all, you are its biggest asset. Make sure you find a company that realizes that.

Fourth, see if company’s management is good. This is more than style—many executives can achieve the same thing with different approaches. The key here is to find management that will genuinely help you out whether you’re a veteran or just starting in the industry.

Fifth, see if the company has a good support mechanism. You have to be able to reach the company anytime you have problems. It is also a big plus if the company allows and even encourage its members to interact with each other and even learn from one another.

Sixth, make sure the company focuses on the right thing. Extra income is great, but your focus should be on improving yourself and helping your business grow. As in all businesses, money is a good motivator but it is not the sole end of your entering into a multi-level marketing business.

Keep in mind that these are just some of the things to look for when choosing a multi-level marketing company—there are some other factors that would come into play. This, however, is a good start. Just do your research well, and you will have no problem picking the right multi-level marketing company for you.

MARKETING IDEAS FOR SMALL BUSINESS

Thanks to the 21st century and the global recession you will find that they’re many low cost marketing ideas for small business. In fact, there are numerous simple no-cost and low-cost solutions for small businesses to maintain and even increase market share.

As small shops find they can’t compete against giant conglomerates they unavoidably fail, unless they can offer more to their customers. This is performed by smart promoting and offering value and a better experience to the purchaser.

So, what’s the solution to this troubling problem will our only choice be to shop like drones in these giant warehouses? If you have a brick and mortar consultant store like a camera shop or a tool store likelihood is that you are battling to make money by cutting margins and outgoings radically. This country has to get back to offering value in the form of fantastic post-sale and pre-sale customer service.

Employ People Who Are Motivated

We need to offer experience and employ people who know what they ‘re doing Not someone that has neither initiative, personality nor experience. Look at what the major chains don’ t offer and you will see that customer service is a thing of the past.  Their stores all look the same and if they haven’ t got what you want, you ‘re sunk. Local businesses are what make a community and people who      have decided to start their own businesses have a taste for what they do and they really like to help when was the last time that happened in your local Wally mart?

It is surprising to discover that many small businesses don’t wish to have a site. These business owners are ignorant of the fact that Google loves small business and support them by placing them on the top page of the search results. Provided they put the name of the city and relevant offerings on their web page. This offers a very gigantic advantage to small business owners.

Besides this, small business owners can list their websites in local directories through the local Chamber of Commerce, for instance, either for a small fee or  or free. Almost all of the small business owners have the misunderstanding it is very difficult and high-priced to start and maintain an internet site. But that is not true.

Websites Are Not That Expensive

Inexpensive construction and maintenance of a web site has itself become a small scale industry. All a small local business needs is a Google map of where they are a page explaining what they do, a section that gives opening hours and contact data, some great footage and perhaps a record of the business and that ‘s it!

Add an opt in box and an once a month newsletter, coupons can be mailed and sales announced, and with the addition of some affiliate advertising the site can basically make the business owner some money even after covering the necessary minor costs.

A Business Website Must Provide Customer Service

It is quite hard for online businesses to market their products. There exists tough competition and therefore they must use varied internet marketing ideas for small business and S.E.O. strategy, especially to build a subscribers list. The approval for a site shows several things: the web site’s age, the number of back links the site has, the price and relevancy of its content and the consistency in updating the web site. A business website must provide wonderful customer service, useful info and market itself as a unique brand like other small businesses. All these ideas for small business are a part of attraction marketing.

Make sure you dig deeper and find more information on attraction marketing and other great ways to improve your business.

The Joys Of Lead Generation

Leads are a necessary part in building any sort of business successfully. Good lead generation is crucial to the financial success of any company, whether large or small. Nonetheless not all lead generation processes are equal in quality. A lower quality lead generation process can finish up costing a business much more than it may seem to at the start. Throughout the promoting process there has to be a way to identify qualified leads and separate them from the others.

Your conversion rates will be disappointing and you ‘ll become disenchanted with the future of your business. Don’t fall into that trap. Creating leads can be a laborious endeavor. Offline lead generation process requires meeting prospects eyeball to eyeball in physical locations as well contacting them by phone. Leads that are generated at trade shows and other events must be placed in a database and you need contact with each one individually. The business may have to mail information to the prospects, which can also be a pricey activity. Such leads must be qualified and then passed off to the firm’ s sales dept, where a sale will hopefully be made in the future.

Creating Leads Online

Creating leads online is no less complicated and labor-intensive, and if you have operated a web Multi-Level Marketing business for any length of time you are likely nodding in harmony.  You do have an audience of millions when you market online, but that suggests that the qualifying process is more significant and it’s much more difficult because few people basically know you from a hole in the ground. There aren’t many companies that don’ t need a preliminary investment to get it going, and the more capital you can invest the quicker your business can take off ,which will mean outsourcing the jobs or things you re not capable of doing yourself.

Advertising at some point to improve lead generation will always pull in more leads, but only if it’s done correctly. Are you asking yourself why your internet site is not rewarding you with sales? Heck, you have followed the whole menu of things you should do like writing quality articles, getting back links, using       autoresponders to push your product thru email campaigns and all that other necessary stuff. What are you doing wrong? Too many people in online marketing simply give up at that point and join the great majority of others who’ve failed. But there’s no work! You can end up standing in a line at a job convention behind people that are much more experienced than you are. Trying to find another job…..Yuck!

Paying For Qualified Leads

Regardless of whether a credible business can be found to get new, qualified leads, (really expensive option) the leads must be paid for no matter whether they’re qualified or converted to sales. In this respect, a small enterprise can find that profits are being eaten up in lead generation costs. If raising prices to provide compensation for this isn’t a choice, the company then finds itself in a bad position. In this respect, a lead generation system that is really capable of offering positive results can help an entrepreneur to remain in charge of the process. A system should be selected that teaches the business owner the most recent system of taking fresh, qualified leads, leaving her with more time to improve and build the company.

If you’re looking for that special training to help your business improve it’s lead generation without spending tons of money, dig a little deeper below.

Healthy Stress vs. Unhealthy Stress

The phrase “healthy stress” may seem like an oxymoron, but it’s actually a reality. Stress is inescapable; everyone feels some stress at some points throughout their Controlling stresslives. Our bodies are therefore equipped to handle certain types and amounts of stress. We can even benefit from it.

So what is the difference between healthy and unhealthy stress? What makes stress healthy? Here are some things to think about regarding stress and its role in your health.

Healthy Stress  (Eustress)

The Great Motivator

Without stress, not very much would get done. Stress is what drives you to teach your kids proper behavior, to earn money, and to pay your bills on time. It is what keeps you on your toes in a football game or when catching your tumbling toddler. A certain amount of stress about traffic accidents motivates you to drive safely.

Reaction Time

Did you feel stress when that person cut you off in traffic? The stress response was partially responsible for your quick pressure on the brakes! Stress can motivate us into quick, sometimes life-saving action. In the case of an emergency, one of your stress hormones – adrenaline – kicks in, and prompts you to act quickly and sometimes with remarkable strength.

Endorphins

Endorphins are the “feel good” neurotransmitters. When the body is stressed or types of stress in pain, its natural pain relievers are released in the form of endorphins. Exercise is a healthy way to bring this kind of endorphin-releasing stress onto your body. While you should not exercise to the point of unbearable pain, it’s okay to “feel the burn” and push yourself a little. Massage therapy and acupuncture can also stimulate the release of endorphins.

Other Health Benefits

Experts are finding anti-tumor activity in people who undergo healthy stress, indicating that healthy stress stimulates the immune system.

Unhealthy Stress (Distress)

Constant

The unhealthy type of stress is constant. You do not return to a normal energy level after it has passed. Unhealthy stress can take the form of constant worry, depression, and exhaustion. It can cause weight gain as well due to the release of cortisol, the “stress hormone.”

Immunity

Continual stress weakens the immune system. That can leave you more susceptible to everyday illnesses and more serious problems such as cancer. (As a cancer survivor my doctor and I both believe this was the main contributing factor in my diagnosis!)

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

People who are chronically stressed usually worry about common, everyday things over which they have no control. These are the kinds of things that are REDUCE STRESS written on notebook papernot going to go away, such as paying bills, keeping the house clean, and so forth. Once one set of worries is tackled, another set comes along. Accepting these annoyances as part of life can go a long way in helping you cope with unhealthy stress.

What Causes Stress?

When it comes to causes of stress, there are some obvious ones and some not-so-obvious ones. Obvious stressors include things like the loss of a loved one, a man sitting at a computer stressed outhouse fire, the loss of a job, illness, or any number of traumatic situations. Some more subtle causes of stress could be a difficult work relationship, finances, or a feeling of being out of control.

In discussing what causes stress, it’s a good idea to take a look at just what stress is. Stress is not necessarily bad – it actually can keep you safe or save your life. For example, the stress you feel as you begin to cross an intersection and someone runs a red light is crucial to your fast, physical reaction – you slam on the brakes. Your body responds to the stressful situation with a “fight or flight” reaction, which makes your natural defenses kick in full-force.

Some types of stress help you do a good job at work or in some sort of performance or event. Chronic stress, however, which is more than just an incident here and there, can have a detrimental effect on health and emotions. In a nutshell, stress is the body’s response to intense or difficult situations. Those situations can be sudden and traumatic, or continual and subtle.

Here are some possible causes of stress.

1. Difficult relationships

Being “trapped” in a difficult marriage or familial relationship can be very stressful, and can become a source of chronic stress. Divorce is said to be one of the most stressful relationship situations that people can experience.

2. Retirement

Yes, retirement can be a stressor, according to some sources. While you won’t People pulling a stress sign in different directionshave work-related stress anymore, some people find the retirement of their spouse, for instance, very stressful – suddenly, their schedule is completely different. The retired individual may feel useless without a daily job to do.

3. Illness

Grave illnesses like cancer are very stressful for the sufferer and his or her family. It has been said that stress is “murder” on relationships, which may add additional stress to the illness situation.

4. Injury

Sustaining an injury can be a big stressor. Depending on the nature of the injury, your entire lifestyle may experience upheaval and chronic pain may be a factor. Intense pain, even if temporary, can cause extreme stress.

5. Perfectionism

Do you feel like everything has to be “just right”? For you, it may be very stressful when things aren’t perfect. And since imperfection is a big part of life, a perfectionist may find him or herself stressed chronically.

6. Holidays

Shopping, family, traffic add in those fun fill activities to your already hectic lifestressed out woman Christmas shopping can take years off your life if you allow them to stress you out.

Happy Holidays!

Incorporate a Set Time for Mindless Fun

As they say, all work and no play makes you dull. But what it really does is make you stressed out, and ineffective. If you really want to be good at your job and productive every single day, setting aside time for mindless fun each and every day is imperative. Being mindless for a little bit each day will make you more creative and productive.

Go for a Walk –

Everyone should try to take a walk each day for about 30 to 45 minutes. Walking at a brisk pace for this length of time will help your heart, as well as clear out the cobwebs from your mind. Avoid taking anything with you to listen to, like music, or lectures, or books. Instead, try not to think of anything but how your breath feels going in and out of your lungs, and how the air smells to your nose.

Read a Chapter of a Book –

No, don’t read something about your industry. Read something simple and mindless that is not realistic. Read “chick lit”, murder mysteries, science fiction or another genre that you enjoy that seems like ultimate pleasure and nothing more. If you have teenagers, try reading some of their books for a real eye-opening experience.

Play a Video Game –

There are many different games you can play today, from games online to old-fashioned games on paper. Take just 15 minutes or so to play a round or two of a game that you enjoy and don’t think of anything else while you’re doing it. Set the timer. Time flies when you’re playing games.

Create an Art Project –

Want to learn to paint, knit or sew? Why not start now. You can learn something new and find a hobby that takes your mind out of your work. Painting is really good for that because you can be abstract and not exact on your creations. It will teach you that imperfections can be beautiful.

Meditate –

This requires a quiet room, comfortable clothing, and just 15 minutes. Find a way to sit that is comfortable, usually with your legs crossed and your back straight, hands relaxed on your thighs. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Breathe in, and out. In through your nose, and out through your mouth. Take deep, long breaths and focus on nothing else for the time you’ve set aside. You want your mind to literally think of nothing.

Jump on a Trampoline –

One of the best exercises is rebounding, and it’s fun too. When you are jumping, think of only the fun of jumping, not what’s next in your life. Just think of right now, jumping up and down.

Get in a Hot Tub –

If you have access to a hot tub, or just your tub full of hot water, get in. Fill up the tub with nice smelling bubbles, light some candles, and enjoy until the water cools down. Different smells will give you different feelings. Try mint for more energy, lavender to calm down.

Get a Massage –

Depending on where you live, you can get someone to come to your home or office for a massage. Massages usually take from 30 to 40 minutes and are a perfect weekly treat to help you get out of your head and enjoy mindless fun.

Take a Vacation –

You can’t take a vacation every day of course, but you should take one at least once a year. If you cannot take one long two-week vacation each year, try taking more frequent smaller three-day weekend vacations where you disconnect and unplug so that you can come back refreshed and ready to work.

Watch Funny Videos –

Everyone loves cat videos, or videos of babies laughing. Set aside a bit of time on occasion to watch some funny videos. It will help you have a full happy day, and spark your creativity due to the happy endorphins released during laughter.

Take a Nap –

A 20-minute power nap can do wonders helping you become more creative. You need someplace good to nap such as a cool bedroom or a comfortable couch in your office. Pull the shades, turn off the technology, and set an alarm.

Take in a Movie –

Whether you go to the theater or watch instantly on Netflix, a good movie can take you to a whole new world. Most movies are one to two hours long, so plan this one into your schedule carefully.

Learn to Knit –

Once you learn to knit, it becomes a mindless activity that is very repetitive yet something you must focus on to get it right. Having something mindless to take your focus can make you that much more energetic and creative when you come back to work tasks.

Take a Dance Class –

Nothing can quite get your blood pumping like a good dance. You can take lessons with a friend, or a spouse, or even alone depending on the type of dance you want to learn. It’s not really important that you’re good at it, just that you have fun.

Create a Vision Board –

While not totally mindless, it’s very helpful to create a vision board to help you envision and plan your future by making them look real on a vision board. You can use Pinterest or old-fashioned paper, glue and paint to do it.

Have Sex –

This might seem like a strange thing to say but so many of us get so busy with our working lives that we forget about our spouses. Life, children, and work take precedence over fun activities like sex far too often. It might seem that it’s not so romantic to schedule it in, but it’s very important if you’re in a relationship like that not to ignore it.

All of these activities are pretty mindless and can get you out of yourself a bit. It’s important to incorporate mindless fun into your life so that you can be even more wonderful than you already are. All of these activities get you out of your head and can actually get your creative juices flowing. Just be sure to stick to your schedule so that mindless activity doesn’t take over completely and that work doesn’t get in the way of having mindless fun.

Go Have Some Fun!

Visualize Your Way to Success

1. Peace and Quiet

The first step to visualizing your way to success is to get some peace and quiet. Sound impossible? Try right before bed, or as soon as you wake in the morning. Maybe you can set your alarm earlier. You will need to have some time when you are not distracted or needed.

2. Determine your Goals

Be specific – “more money” is too broad. Maybe it’s $1000 a month, or being out of debt, or spending more time with your significant other or kids.

3. Imagine

Be specific and detailed here, too. Imagine exactly what it would be like to reach VISUALIZEyour goals. Imagine having that extra time with your children – what would you do? Where would you go? Picture a specific event or activity you’d like to do with them.
If you want to be out of debt, imagine the freedom of having expendable cash. Try to feel, see, and smell what you would do with that money. Maybe imagine opening a savings account – picture yourself walking into the bank and meeting with a representative there. When you imagine, include the details.

4. See Yourself

As you imagine these specific scenarios, try to watch yourself as an observer would. See your personality and how you are acting. Picture yourself going to meetings, making sales, garnering clients, earning money enough to spend time with your kids – whatever you like, try watching yourself do it. Try to make it really vivid – colors, sounds, sights.

5. Bring it Home

Try imagining these things happening at a specific time and date, not just whenever. Picture it in a particular season and time.

6. Energize it

As you visualize meeting your goals and succeeding in business, try breathing energy into the picture. Make it truly real.

7. Accept the Vision

Sometimes, you can go through all of the above and still be thinking “it can’t happen for me.” That means this next step is especially important – accept the SUCCESSvision as doable, real, and possible. Embrace it and own it.

Visualization is a lot about building confidence. It’s also about tapping into the brain’s tendency to heighten your awareness to opportunities that have to do with what you’re focusing on. If it’s on your mind, in other words, you may be more likely to see the opportunities that come your way.

Have A Great Day!
